SOLD 1978 Van Veen OCR 1000

The Van Veen OCR 1000 was designed and built by Henk van Veen, who, in the 1970’s, was the Dutch Importer of Kreidler motorcycles.

The first prototype was completed in 1974 using a 1000 cc Comotor 624 twin-rotor Wankel engine, and in November 1974 it was exhibited at the Cologne motorcycle show with front and rear cast wheels and triple Brembo disc brakes. Production of the OCR 1000 began in 1978 and ran for only four years with the Amsterdam based company closing its doors and 1981.

Only 38 OCR 1000’s were ever built, and this beautiful example is built number 6 and has seen roughly 1,000km’s use per year throughout its 41 year life. Originally purchased and owned by an employee of van Veen, its Dutch papers note the employee’s name. Located with our Austrian agent, this extremely rare bike is sold with all the original factory technical documents advertised price excludes shipping & arrival charges.
