2003 Ducati 998FE

The last version of the incredible 916 family was the 998 FE (Final Edition). Produced in very limited numbers, the bikes were released at the end of 2003 and 2004. There were only 981 of these bikes made, but uncharacteristically, they were not individually numbered. However, they did have some identifying features that made them much different than the base model 998.

In total 419 biposto and 562 monoposto bikes were produced. The FE engines made 136bhp and used the new and more developed Testastretta unit that had previously been used exclusively in the 998R.  The FE also received the R-spec Ohlins front and rear suspension; basically, the FE was an R but without the carbon fairings. Other features for this limited-edition model were a Limited Edition plaque on the headstock, tank graphics, tri-colore tailpiece graphics.

This 998FE is absolutely showroom original, having only 120k’s use and spent almost all its time on display. In preparation for selling, it has been fully serviced including belts, all fluids, fork oil etc, and is sold with letter of authenticity from Ducati. Located with our Italian agent, the advertised price includes shipping and arrival charges into Sydney.
