Owing to the importance of their Japanese market, in the mid 80’s Bimota responded to the very loud request for a baby Bimota with sub 400cc engine, and that it include all the allure of their bigger YB models. Using the FZR400 Yamaha the YB7 is a perfectly scaled down replica of the bigger YB4 and YB6 road burners, right down to identical paint job and replica racer styling based on the YB4EI racer that so nearly won the inaugural World Superbike title.

Only 312 YB7’s were built and finding them is becoming increasingly difficult. As the pics show, this bike has a few scuffs and shows a bit of aging, but overall is in fabulous condition.
