Released to the world at the 1985 Sydney Motorcycle Exhibition, Ducati’s 750 F1 was derived from their incredibly successful 750 TT of the previous year, itself an evolution of th enow famous 600 TT2 which hit the tracks 1981.

Thanks largely to Mike Hailwood’s amazing on-track results, the early 80’s gave Ducati fantastic momentum and attention, guaranteeing the similarly coloured F1 Tricolre was a popular model. Producing 94hp at 10,000RPM, the 750F1 was one of the first Ducati’s to feature a five-speed constant-mesh gearbox, as well as introducing the now common to all sportsbikes, mono-shock rising-rate swing-arm. That advanced suspension combined with the tubular trestle frame were a recipe for success that would be utilised for many years following, and making the 750F1 road going replica an instant, and ongoing success.

This 1985 Italian delivered has travelled only 33,000k’s, is unrestored and benefits from some high-end accessories, such as NCR cylinder heads, 40 dell’Orto carbs, alloy tank and Verlicchi exhaust system.
