1986 Ducati F3 SOLD
Japan has always been Ducati’s largest market, and as a consequence the factory produced several models exclusive to Japan, and most were 400cc variants of the same 750cc model. For those wondering why, Japan had a license and registration restriction for bikes over 400cc. One of the most sought-after of all the 80’s models was the giant-killing 750 F1, a road-going version of the championship winning TT1 and TT2. To satisfy their biggest customer Ducati produced a limited run of 509 Ducati 400 F3 bikes in 1986, labelling them the F3
The example on offer here presents in very original example although missing the rear lower guard section and centre-stand. The exhaust is a style we’ve seen on other F3’s, but different to that seen on the bigger F1. Speedo show’s 18,976k’s and that seems right for the condition, and overall the bike clearly shows signs of being well cared for in past ownership. Presently located with our Japan agent, the advertised price excludes shipping & arrival charges.
