Cagiva GP500 Racer
Cagiva 500 Grand Prix Factory racer. This bike was used in the 1981 500 GP World Championship, and was ridden by Virginio Ferrari. One of only 3 bikes produced in that year, it is powered by a 4-cylinder in-line, rotary disc 2-stroke engine, with six-speed transmission & 4 Dell'Orto carburetors.
Frame is constructed of 36 CrNi, and beautifully fabricated by the legendary Nico Baker. Front Forks are 40mm Italia, Brembo brakes and Campagnolo wheels. Credited with 120 hp the bike runs perfectly and is in excellent condition. Full photos & report on request.
