1970 Ducati 250MK3 SOLD 2020
Initially displayed at the 1967 Cologne show, the wide-case Ducati singles were launched in 1968 in 250 & 350cc models, Scrambler & Mark 3 Sport designations. The 250 remained in the same state of tune as the much loved Mach 1, with 10:1 compression ratio and Dell’Orto SS1 29D carburettor, but the wide-case bikes were heavier and top speed was down to 89 mph. Nevertheless, the range would soon boast Taglioni’s celebrated Desmo engine.
This 250 Mk3 has been beautifully restored in original paint scheme and the engine and gearbox has been rebuilt and finished to exception standard. Located with our Belgium agent, the advertised price includes shipping and arrival charges into Sydney.
