1952 ISO Scooter & sidecar
Iso Autoveicoli S.p.A was an Italian car and motorcycle manufacturer from the late 1940s through the early 1970s. Mostly renown for the iconic Isetta bubble car of the 50s, and for a number of powerful performance cars in the 1960s and early 1970s.
After WW2 the company reinvented itself to build motorcycles, scooters and motocarries (three-wheeled transport scooters/motorcycles). Among the most famous are the Furetto (1948), 'Isoscooter (1950),' Isocarro (1951), 'Isomoto (1954) and' Isosport (1953). The last Iso motorcycle was presented as the Iso 500 in 1961. Isomotos were known as expensive, but durable and well-built.
This example is a 125cc Isoscooter with sidecar. The owner states it as being in very original condition. Photos suggest some minor paint work, but higher detail pics leave little doubt that the outfit has genuine patina to the engine, chassis and running gear. Presently located with our French agent.
