Description
1973 R90/S
Truly spectacular 1973 BMW R/90S, retained in perfectly original condition and with only 16,000km use from new!
This R90/s is from the very first series, frame # 4072018, built in December 1973, delivered by René Kibler SA BMW Mulhouse, on 11 April 1974 to Francis Ingold, first and only owner for 52 years .
As an original owner bike, the 16 000 km is certified via the original 04/1974 French carte grise, service books etc. Purchased new, Francis Ingold has used the R9/s sparingly with clear intention of it being a collector bike.
Matching numbers on frame, engine and documents, with perfect Silver Smoke original paint, rubbers and everything except tyres and battery. Runs perfectly, looks and rides like a brand new original early R 90/S …
Sold with the owner’s original Cromwell helmet and Climax googles bought new by Ingold, both still very clean and usable..
