Description

1959 MV Agusta Centauro 150

MV Agusta isn’t the name you think of for vintage commercial vehicles, but their first transport vehicle debuted in 1947 and was an odd-looking device with a front-loading bed. In 1959 the company unveiled a more orthodox design, the “Centauro”. Powered by a 150CC single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, it used a 4-speed gearbox with a separate reverse gear mechanism.

The 7 HP engine was located beneath the operator’s seat and was accessed by lifting the seat cushion. A strong tubular chassis resulted in a relatively light 270 kg dry weight, with a gross carrying capacity of 350 kg. Only 1610 Centaruos were ever constructed.

Located with our Italian agent, this example has been beautifully restored and has a four-speed gearbox, shaft drive, and independent rear differential.  The advertised price excludes shipping & arrival charges.
