New Monkey Racing was a Japan based specialist customising company that built baby replica’s of 1980’s GP500 racers like the Kawasaki KR500, Suzuki RGB500, Yamaha YZR500, and the Honda NSR500. Based on the Honda Monkey RT, it seems as though only 50 baby racers were ever built, the rarest of al being the Bimota DB1 replica, aptly called the Bi-Monkey

The Monkey RT is considered the rarest of all Monkeys and was built between 1987 & 1988, and only for the Japanese market. At the end of the trial period Honda deemed the RT too expensive for mass production and the model consequently terminated, making them extremely rare, but nowhere near as rare the Bi-Monkey’s produced during the same period.

Using a twin spar frame, four-speed transmission with a manual clutch, the Bi-Monkey is a true tribute to the Bimota DB1. Located in our Coffs facility the Bi-Monkey is totally compliant for road use on full or club registration.
