Beautifully original 1981 Laverda Mirage 1200. One of the final 1200cc 3-cylinder 120⁰ evo engine examples produced.

The Laverda 1200 engine bore was increased from 75mm to 80mm giving a swept volume of 1,116cc, but importantly retained the Jota’s 180-degree crankshaft, meaning the two outer pistons rose together, while the centre piston fell, and vice versa.  This endured the 1200 had the same beautiful sound characteristic of the 1-2-3-miss exhaust beat. Although the 1,000cc engine was later produced with a 120-degree crankshaft, all Laverda 1200’s used the 180-degree crank, meaning they echo the Jota’s “hammering, fast-paced booming exhaust”.

Located at our Italian facility, this bike has travelled only 34,00k’s and is sold with its original UK numberplate, fully documented and fully serviced by leading Laverda specialist . The advertised price includes shipping & arrival costs into Sydney.
