Ducati 450 Desmo Replica
In the late 90’s Italian magazine Motociclismo d'Epoca commissioned Massimo del Biondo to build this Ducati beautiful little 450 Desmo replica to compete in the 1998 Tourist Trophy. The design brief was to reproduce the bike ridden by factory legend Bruno Spaggiari. The replica was ridden Antony Calandra in the 98 TT, and both Calandra and the bike was centrepiece in Motociclismo’s July 98 publication (see pics). Built using original racing components from Ceriani/Borrani/Fontana, it has period correct twin ignition & GP brakes and hold IMF certification No. 11224 as a duly recognised genuine historic motorcycle.
