1959 MV Agusta Centauro 150
MV Agusta isn’t the name you think of for vintage commercial vehicles, but their first transport vehicle debuted in 1947, and was an odd-looking device with a front-loading bed. In 1959 the company unveiled a more orthodox design, the “Centauro”. Powered by a 150CC single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, it used a 4-speed gearbox with separate reverse gear mechanism.
The 7 HP engine was located beneath the operators seat, and was accessed by lifting the seat cushion. A strong tubular chassis resulted in a relatively light 270Kg dry weight, with a gross carrying capacity of 350Kg. Only 1610 Centaruo’s were ever constructed.
Located with our Italian agent, this example has been beautifully restored, and has a four speed gearbox, shaft drive, and independent rear differential. The advertised price excludes shipping & arrival charges.
